Introduction

Sítio Santa Ângela, located in the Climatic Resort of Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, was founded with the purpose of producing and executing pedagogical and
educational projects to serve students and groups. The itineraries promote knowledge through exploration, research, and meaningful experiences.
In accordance with the 10 general competencies of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and aligned with the principles of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable
Development, the Santa Ângela team developed activities that assist in the development of essential competencies for the integral formation of the student. The projects carried out in field studies not only add value to human formation but also contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, expanding the possibilities of addressing the concepts taught by teachers in the classroom.
Paleontological Site
This project provides an authentic journey! The expedition departs in search of the intriguing Paleontological Site, filled with challenges. Working with maps and compass, embedded in a narrative full of charm and discoveries, is the essence of this exciting activity. The group follows a trail, needing to be attentive to the signs along the way.
Fossils and replicas of dinosaurs, in an environment filled with suspense, stimulate the imagination! Imagine finding an abandoned campsite with traces of ancient objects.
Where did the paleontologists who worked here go? The adventure only ends when we find Yellow, our favorite dinosaur.
Pakhê Pat Vivenc axó iando Indigenous Culture
During the month of April, Sítio Santa Ângela offers a unique immersion experience in indigenous culture, highlighting the presence of a family from the Pataxó ethnicity. This family, from the Mãe Barra Velha Village, located in Southern Bahia, the region where the first Portuguese landed in Brazil with Pedro Álvares Cabral, brings authentic traditions and experiences. The property has a village built especially to receive this indigenous family, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to learn about the daily life of the Pataxó. This project aims to enrich the cultural repertoire of students, promoting a significant exchange of knowledge. The immersion in the indigenous way of life aims not only to educate about the appreciation of culture but also to stimulate a playful and reflective experience, contributing to awareness, citizenship, and equality.
Farm Zoo - Where the experience turns into an engaging outdoor class!
Here, observing sounds, colors, and shapes becomes an exciting exercise, awakening curiosity and the investigative spirit of all participants, including exotic animals, mammals, birds, and reptiles, we offer a wide diversity to explore. Handling different species adds a special touch to this memorable activity. All experiences are meticulously guided by our dedicated team, ensuring not only moments of fun but also valuable opportunities for learning and deeply meaningful interaction.
Clarinho River Trail
The Clarinho River Trail offers a unique experience, highlighting the natural beauty that characterizes the Site. In addition to the rich diversity of fauna and flora, we explore springs that flow into the Clarinho River. The group is invited to walk a trail, observing and investigating the wide diversity present while acquiring knowledge about the importance of riparian forests and the preservation of water resources. This activity is adaptable for different age groups, according to the specific objectives of the project. Conducted in two stages, the dry trail along the banks and the wet trail inside the river, provide an extra dose of adventure, making the experience even more engaging for all participants!
