Introduction
PROJECT EARTH AND UNIVERSE FOR 1ST AND 2ND GRADES OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Theme I - Identify, record, and illustrate the positions of the Sun, using the shadows of objects throughout the day as a reference and correlating them to references such as the horizon, houses, buildings, the body itself, cardinal points, and the marking of time, such as dividing the day into hours.
Workshop on customizing a sundial to describe its positions at various times of the day and associate them with the size of the projected shadow.
For these activities, students will meet a character who has always dreamed of studying the stars of the universe and needs help to locate himself here on Earth and produce his space rocket with the correct elements. Students will be active collaborators in this mission, turning a day of study into an unforgettable adventure, combining content and "gamification".
Theme 2 - Compare the effect of solar radiation (heating and reflection) on different types of surfaces (water, sand, soil, dark, light, and metallic surfaces, etc.). Workshop on renewable energy, construction of a micro-structure generating energy.
